Continuing Education

The NECE is an Official Test Site for the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE).

Visit www.bcpe.org

The National Ergonomics Conference & Exposition has been approved through the AAOHN Continuing Nursing Education Approver Unit for 30.0 Contact hours (when registered for the premium pass) and has been assigned the approval number 3-106-01. AAOHN is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation.
Typically Certified Safety Professionals (CSP's) may claim 1.0 continuance of Certification (COC) point for attending the NECE.  Attendees should retain their NECE Certificate of Attendance for verification.  Visit the BCSP website, www.bcsp.org for information on meeting recertification requirements.

Usually the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) approves the NECE for Certification Maintenance (CM) Points.  Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH) who are certified by the ABIH typically accrue .5 IH CM points per half-day at the NECE, for a total of 4.0 IH CM points available.  Visit this page again in June of 2007 for details.
